Survey Data Collection Methods
Mail, online, and phone survey expertise
Readex Research offers customers three different data collection options: mail, online and telephone.
A leader in mail surveys
Mail has been our expertise since the founding of the organization in 1947. We have complete in-house capabilities to handle mail surveys including: printing, survey kit assembly, response tracking, re-mailings to non-respondents, data capture (manual entry or scanning), tabulation and reporting. Given our flexible processing system, we are able to handle sample sizes from 100 to 100,000+.
Over a decade of online survey research experience
Online studies were incorporated into the business in 1997. Our programming team is able to produce web-based questionnaires that are very simple, as well as those that are more complex with such features as piping, randomization, pause/resume, skip patterns, single-page or multi-page formats, branching, validation and quota management. Visual elements can also be brought in to aid in the survey process, items such as advertising or product shots. Our goal is to make the user experience as inviting and seamless as possible to generate a result for you that meets your information needs.
Implementation and management of phone surveys
Customers that require data collection by telephone may also have that service provided by Readex. While Readex does not have a call center, we do have partnerships in place with firms that specialize in data collection by phone. Our role is to help the customer on the front end with overall design, including the questionnaire, and then to work with the selected call center to collect data. We will function as the main contact, attending project briefings and monitoring sessions all the way through fieldwork completion. From there we will take the data set and handle tabulation and reporting.
