Mail surveys
A mail survey is ideal for achieving highly representative results or for when complex, lengthy questioning is required. Mail surveys from Readex routinely achieve 50% response rates. High rates of response increase the likelihood that your data reflect your population, not only those with strong interest in the survey subject.

Online surveys
Online survey research is effective when you have a high percentage of email addresses for the members of your population, and for when execution speed and cost effectiveness are critical.

Mixed-mode surveys
Mixed-mode surveys combine email or mail survey invitations with web and/or print questionnaires that maximize survey reach and representativeness while tempering the cost of mail-only administration. Respondents answer in whatever way is most convenient for them.

Bind-in surveys
Ideal when you have to survey an audience for which there is no contact list. These surveys are either bound or inserted into a publication during production. The response rate for the bind-in method is usually extremely low, and is less desirable than other methods that achieve higher response due to potentially high non-response bias.

Phone surveys
For projects where stringent respondent screening or the ability to probe responses are especially important, phone surveys are executed by Readex in tandem with trusted local interviewing services. Generally, of these methods discussed, a phone survey is the most costly survey research method.
